This Privacy Policy explains how Vunio Player (package name com.vunio.player, the “App”) handles information. The App is a media player for Android that plays local video and audio files, network streams, and IPTV playlists that you add yourself. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the developer of Vunio Player.
By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We do not ask you to register or sign in, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use any analytics or crash-reporting service of our own. Your media files are never uploaded by the App.
To work as a media player, the App saves the following information in its private storage on your device. This information is not sent to us.
The App may also keep cached images (such as channel logos and video thumbnails) in its cache folder to load faster.
The App asks only for the permissions it needs. You can review or revoke them at any time in your device’s system settings.

When you play a network stream, import an IPTV playlist, sign in to an Xtream Codes server, or download a programme guide, the App connects directly from your device to the address you provided. That server will receive the technical information any internet request includes: your IP address, the App’s User-Agent, the request headers you configured and, for Xtream Codes, the username and password you entered.
These servers are operated by third parties, not by us. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please only use sources you trust and are authorised to use. Vunio Player does not provide any content and does not bypass DRM protection.
You can open media in Vunio Player from other apps (for example with “Open with” or a supported playback link). The App uses the file or address it receives only to play that media and to add it to your local playback history.
The App is free and is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information such as:

Ads are never shown during video or audio playback.
The App reads your clipboard only when you tap the Paste button, to fill in a stream address. It copies text to your clipboard only when you tap a Copy action.
If Android backup is enabled on your device, Android may include the App’s local data (such as settings, history and IPTV playlists, including Xtream Codes credentials) in your device’s backup to your Google account. This is controlled by your device settings and by Google, not by us.

Because we do not hold your personal data on our own servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. For data collected by Google AdMob, please use the controls described in section 6 or contact Google.
Data saved by the App is kept in the App’s private storage, which other apps cannot normally access. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Some streams or playlists you add may use unencrypted (http://) connections chosen by their provider. Please protect your device with a screen lock, and use trusted sources.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will help address it.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to personalised advertising. Because the App keeps your data on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly with the controls described above. For advertising data, you can use the choices in section 6. For any other request or question, contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when the App gains new features. The updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we may also notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
